Wisdom For The Day Devotional 6 November 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Speak The Way God Speaks
TOPIC: Speak The Way God Speaks (TREM Devotional 6 November 2022)
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:22-23 (KJV)
There are lots of us who our angels are doing nothing. Our angels are on vacation because we are saying nothing. The devil hits you here you fall. He hits you on the left you fall. He kicks you; you fall. And rather than open your mouth, you close it.
Beloved. your mouth is not given to you only to eat. Jesus puts it succinctly: “…Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4 KJV).
The word remains impotent until it is spoken out of your mouth. The word remains impotent until it is coming out of your spirit. Your word will either grant you victory or your word will kill you.
These days and hours don’t wait for God again to say. You should speak. God has already spoken. He has spoken concerning your life. He has spoken concerning your business. He has spoken concerning your finance. He has spoken concerning your dreams. He has spoken concerning your ministry. The issue is what are you saying? We are made in the image of God. And the scripture declares: “THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].” (Ephesians 5:1 AMPC).
You are not doing the wrong thing when you speak out the same way God spoke. Speak out His word. Put it in the womb of your spirit and speak it out every morning. What proceeds from your lips is very important. Put the devil on the run!
How did you get saved? How did you become born again? You spoke from your lips. When you speak the word of God out, it produces life.
Psalm 103:20, Mark 11:12-23
