1. Chidinma Ekile

Chidinma Ekile, better known by her stage as Chidinma, rose to fame in 2010 after winning the third season of Project Fame West Africa.

The Lagos-born singer made history by being the first female musician to reach the top of the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 chart.

Chidinma stated in May 2021 that she had left secular music and had become a champion for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Her 30th birthday happened to fall on the same day as the announcement.

She changed her social media profile to reflect the change to further prove her new status.

2. Eucharia Anunobi

Eucharia Anunobi rose to prominence in 1994 thanks to her role in the Glamour Girls film series. Since then, she’s appeared in over 90 films.

The Owerri-born actress and producer committed her life to Christ in 1997 and took a break from acting.

On Sunday, February 5, 2012, the 56-year-old actress was ordained as an evangelist at the Fresh Oil Ministry in Egbeda, Lagos.

The Christian Education and Ministerial Art PhD holder disputed claims that she had left her acting career to undertake God’s service. Rather, she claimed that she would be selective in accepting film opportunities.

Patience Ozokwor, a multi-award-winning actress and artist, declared herself a born-again Christian in 2016.

Former President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, who was born in Gabon’s Libreville, has retired from acting to become a pastor.

Pastor Great Ameye of the Freedom Family Assembly International Church in Jesse, Delta state, eventually married her. There, she was ordained as an Evangelist.

Benson, who is 55 years old, and her husband live in Delta State. They handle the church ministry as a team.

After dominating the screens in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Charles Okafor, an actor, producer, director, and entrepreneur, vanished from the scene.

He announced in late 2013 that he is now a born-again Christian and has been working behind the scenes for Christ.

Okafor, 51, stressed that he is still a working actor and filmmaker who only accepts scripts that promote his faith.

Okafor, who was born in Umuleri, Imo, made his Nollywood comeback in 2017 with the biopic Idahosa Trails, a drama film written, produced, and directed by Stanlee Ohikhuare, as well as Uche Jombo’s ‘Misplaced.’
