While worshiping at a prayer mountain in South Africa, Apostle Eric Ebuka of the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church was shot and killed.

According to reports, Eric Ebuka had been fasting and praying for some time before being killed down in South Africa by unknown assailants.

Shepherd Bushiri, the church’s founder, announced his death, saying he was “greatly distressed and grieved to learn of the tragic incident.”

“I celebrate you, Apostle Eric,” he wrote on Facebook. You came, you preached, you won souls, and at the end of your tour, you returned to where we will all return once the task of preaching Jesus Christ is completed.”

Other church members and social media users also used the site to express their condolences as they mourned the man of God.
