The founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Mike Bamiloye has revealed what happens when an individual crosses paths with destiny helpers.
According to him, when such helpers and supporters appear, they come to plug a hole of desperate needs. In a bid to drive home his point, he made some references to the biblical events between Elijah and the Zarephath widow, and Elisha and the Shunamite woman. In his own words, he said:
The Big Questions: Why Did the Brook of Cherith Dry? Why didn’t God prevent the Brook from Drying up? Why did God ask Elijah to relocate to Zarephath? Answer….! A child of God needed a Help!
God had to dry up the Brook and stayed off the Ravens to get Elijah to rise up and go to Zarephath where God could take care of both of them together.
God could sustain the Widow, as His child, but God wanted the presence of Elijah in the house of the Widow, for many other reasons. God raised helper of destiny and supporter of life to His child, the widow of Zarephath.
Similarly. the Lord God knew the Shunamite Woman needed a child, so He directed the presence of Elisha into the house of the couple to be cared for by the woman.
All the time, Elisha was coming into the house to eat, rest a bit and leave, there was no pronouncement. But when the woman took a step higher and built a permanent place of rest for the Prophet and the Man of God went inside and ate there, then, the pronouncement came forth.
When the Woman said she has no need of anything and left the room. Elisha spoke to his servant with worry: ‘What then should be done for her?’ It was as if that was the very day of her visitation.
When Gehazi said to the Prophet that he observed the woman had no child for her husband. Elisha commanded her to be called again. And as she stood by the door the second time, the Word of the Lord came forth to her: “By this time Next Year, you shall embrace a Son”. And that was it!
When helpers of destiny and supporters of life are sent by God, they come to plug a hole of desperate needs. But I also notice that the people these helpers are sent to, have a similar nature of giving to God and sowing into his works even when they are in desperate needs. When they continue in this, then, the Lord directs His servants to locate them and plug the holes of their desperate needs.
My Sincere Counsel: Do not Stop doing things for the Lord, even while you are in Desperate Needs. Do not withdraw your Giving Hands, out of discouragement or long unanswered prayers. Keep on doing what you are doing for the Lord and for the expansion of His kingdom. The helpers of destiny and supporter of life will be directed to you, to plug the holes of your critical needs”.
